One method, several assessments

Every assessment answers the same question: is your organisation ready for this initiative to succeed? The initiative may change, AI, EHDS, interoperability or a new data platform, but the method does not: evidence rather than opinion; prioritised recommendations rather than endless lists; and a clear conclusion you can defend to decision-makers.

In practice, most of the capabilities that determine whether these initiatives succeed revolve around clinical data: its architecture, semantics, governance and traceability. That is where my specialist expertise lies.

EHDS Readiness Check

Is your organisation ready to meet the requirements of EHDS Regulation (EU) 2025/327?

Who it is for

Hospitals, healthcare organisations, pharma companies and HealthTechs acting as health data holders that need to anticipate the cataloguing, quality and utility obligations applying from 26 March 2029, together with penalties of up to €10 million or 2% of worldwide annual turnover.

Healthcare organisations that need to decide whether an AI initiative can proceed before committing budget or selecting a vendor.

What it includes

Reliability, semantics and traceability of the clinical data that will support the use cases
Viability of the proposed AI use cases against the data actually available
Governance, human validation and compliance in a regulated environment
Conditions that must be met before committing budget or selecting a vendor

Deliverable: A readiness conclusion, required conditions and prioritised next steps.

Duration: 2–3 weeks, with scope fixed before work begins

I don't develop software. I don't implement platforms. I don't represent vendors or sell licences. I don't recommend a technology because a commercial agreement sits behind it.

My only commitment is to the quality of the decision you need to make. Sometimes the best recommendation is 'not yet': discovering that you are not ready before signing the contract is far cheaper than discovering it during delivery.
